Welcome to Waterford's best-kept secret
A colourful oasis nestled in a historic site with sweeping views of Waterford
Top of the City Garden is a volunteer-led community space developed in partnership with Waterford City and County Council. Once home to an artillery barracks, this previously derelict site on St Carthage's Avenue is now a vibrant space buzzing with plant and animal life.
Established in 2020, the garden is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our volunteers, members, community, sponsors, and local business partners.
